Having bought a number of swing dresses from British Retro. I thought the chances of having to send one back would increase. With that in mind I chose two dresses that I normally would have never dared.
The off the shoulder look is a bit bold for me and last time I tried a dress in that style it made me look like a bag of potatoes. I am not saying in what brick and mortar shop it was!

I chose this very elaborate rose dress. When it arrived I had bruised my ribs and was a lovely washed out colour because of the pain.

Right now I am sure this dress will be sent back as I am dying by inches. I put it on take pain meds get it zipped up and get out to meet family.

Random strangers complimented me. I lost count after ten. My husband thought I looked gorgeous. My niece, who is at the sophisticated teenager stage, said it’s nice” (now said teenager it’s nice means wow you look really nice but I am not a kid and not gushing over you my dear aunt)

Seriously this dress is one of my favourites from this site.

I wore this dress for a wedding over the weekend…and felt a million dollars.

The fit of the dress complimented my curves and I loved the bardot style top. I wore a petticoat under it for extra fluff, which looked great when I bopped around the dance floor!

I received so many lovely comments from the wedding guests, bride and groom and the staff too!

Can’t wait to order my next dress from here!
